For the initial and start-up stage of the program, the program was piloted in the Kindergarten and First Grades at Clymer Central School.   For 2017-18, we expanded to grades K-3 for CCS and moved into a pilot program for Sherman Central School in November 2017 for grades UPK-1. We expanded into Bemus Point Elementary in January 2018 and added the GA Homes.  With the closing of the GA Homes in early 2020, we expanded in Panama Elementary and continue to grow there. To date, our Ministry is currently packing and placing bags of food in student's book bags at Bemus Point Elementary, Clymer Central School, Panama Central School, Sherman Central School, and Ring Elementary in Jamestown, NY in various elementary grade levels on Friday afternoons to supplement the food they may or may not receive at home over the weekend.  We also have an after school and summer snack program at Prendergast Library and Clymer-French Creek Library.  For the 2022-23 school year, we are projected to fill and send home nearly 25,000 bags of food. Confidentiality is a priority and it is the program’s intent that the food is distributed in a confidential manner so that the identity of the children and families receiving food through the program are protected.

What we’ve accomplished:

1.

God placed a calling on our founding members hearts to address a need in our community. We accepted God's calling and put into action His Will.

2.

We partnered with local churches who graciously offered their prayers, support and resources to support and house our ministry.

3.

We have established and placed bins at various collection sites for donations of food from our menu.
