Today is a day that we care about so many things with our volunteers and their efforts. We reflect on how many people help in so many ways. From ordering our food supplies and bags, to setting up our pack nights, to packing our bags and tearing down
Today is a day that we care about so many things with our volunteers and their efforts. We reflect on how many people help in so many ways. From ordering our food supplies and bags, to setting up our pack nights, to packing our bags and tearing down our cardboard, to delivering our totes and disposing of all our cardboard, to delivering our totes to classrooms and then finally returning the empties to be filled again. And the list doesn’t stop there! We have those who organize our fundraisers and volunteer at our fundraisers. People who cook, bake and collect items for auctions. People who take it upon themselves to do a fundraiser for their birthday in our honor or have a bake or book sale to contribute. As I sit here and write this, I couldn’t possibly list or thank everyone who has contributed in some small way to our ministry and I am truly humbled.
